Every author has a different writing style in comparison. They convey their messages in multiple ways; using different tones to evoke certain moods on their readers. Some authors use a few different ways to catch their audiences attention; persuading them using logic, ethics and emotion. In the excerpt â€Å"Learning to Read† by Malcolm X, he uses logic and emotion to persuade his audience. By using anger to evoke remorse in his readers. Malcolm X references historical events to convey his message. Malcolm X has a vast audience in this writing. He did not write for one particular person or group. Malcolm X wants to inform and persuade an individual who is not aware of what he has discovered.
